Auckland Transport Selects Ambient Group for On Street Staff Contract
QMS is pleased to announce that the Ambient Group in New Zealand has been selected to provide Auckland Transport‘s On Street Human Resources, from 1 July 2015.
Auckland Transport (AT) has previously utilised Ambient’s ambassador staff to assist with on-street marketing requirements – including during the 2011 Rugby World Cup, the introduction of the AT HOP card, the introduction of Auckland’s electric trains, and at the opening of major new facilities and community events.
“We are creative and industry leaders in the experiential, outdoor, events and activations, and sponsorship space,” said Chris Monaghan, CEO, Ambient Group. “Our specialised experience, track record of successful activations, and the size of our organisation assisted in AT’s selection.”
On Street Human Resources are the face of Auckland Transport’s customer service. Under the direction of AT, Ambient’s pool of professional brand ambassadors will be found at train stations, bus stops and ferry terminals to deliver important messages and assistance about the transportation network. AT will utilise the agency to deliver new information on services, special events, disruptions to services, ticketing, and consultation and assistance with marketing campaigns.
“We are delighted to further extend our partnership with Auckland Transport. They are one of the largest and most important government agencies in the nation, and our staff will be improving the transportation of Aucklanders every day that they are out there. We are well aware of the responsibility of this contract and are ready to deliver it,” said Chris Monaghan.
