MediaWorks outdoor partnered with ‘The Rock’ radio station to release a series of dynamic billboards across Auckland and Christchurch during the station’s annual music countdown, The Rock 1500.
The digital billboards acted as a live feed showcasing what was currently playing on air. Featuring the song, artist and countdown placement in a first-of-its-kind digital marketing initiative in New Zealand.
The Rock 1500 is the radio stations annual music countdown – running for more than 10 years. The countdown wrapped up on the Friday 13th of September, the inspiration for the ‘horror’ theme for 2019.
